A Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Film & Video Communication is a four-year undergraduate program that equips students with the skills and knowledge to create compelling films and videos for a variety of purposes. The Film and Video Communication program equips students to become well-rounded filmmakers who can create impactful videos for various purposes, from education and social causes to entertainment and marketing. It combines a strong foundation in visual communication, social awareness, and filmmaking theory with practical production skills. The Animation Design program starts with a foundation in design principles to give students a strong base. They also explore communication in a social and cultural context. Later semesters focus on hands-on learning through workshops and projects. Students experiment with various animation techniques like 2D, 3D, and stop-motion to bring their stories to life. The program goes beyond the classroom with activities like film clubs, field trips, and guest lectures, enriching the student experience.
